General Business Terms and Conditions

    Dear guest

    We will do everything we can to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. To do this, we want to make sure that you know exactly what services you can expect from us and which obligations rest with you. Please note that our General Business Terms and Conditions are an integral part of all contracts you sign with us.

    1. Conclusion of contract

    A contract is deemed entered into when your room booking and/or table reservation has been confirmed by us in writing.

    2. Arrival and departure

    • Unless agreed otherwise, our rooms are available for new arrivals from 3:00 pm and must be vacated on the day of departure by latest 11:00 am.
    • In the event that you have not vacated your room by 6:00 pm that day, the hotel is entitled to charge 50% of the full price for accommodation. After that, the surcharge is 100% of the full price for accommodation.
    • For reserved rooms, you must check in latest by 6:00 pm on the day of arrival. Unless the hotel has been informed by you in writing that you will be arriving late, it is entitled to give them another guest.
    • For groups, the person who has booked the rooms must submit a list of all names of the guests latest 10 days prior to arrival.

    3. Confirmed number of guests for F&B services

    The party making the reservation must inform the hotel latest 5 working days prior to the booking date of the number of guests. This number will be used for billing purposes.

    4. Cancellation of hotel room bookings

    The following terms and conditions apply to cancellations. Cancellations must be made in writing:

    • 100 % refund of booking value, if cancellation is received at least 6 weeks  (42 days) prior to the booked date of arrival
    • 50 % refund for cancellations received latest 4 weeks (28 days) prior to the booked date of arrival/li>
    • 10 % refund for cancellations received latest 1 week (7 days) prior to the booked date of arrival


    For bookings of 60 hotel rooms or more, the following cancellation terms apply:

    • 100 % refund of booking value, if cancellation is received at least 12 weeks  (84 days) prior to the booked date of arrival
    • 50 % refund for cancellations received latest 8 weeks (56 days) prior to the booked date of arrival/li>
    • 10 % refund for cancellations received latest 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the booked date of arrival

    5. No-show / cancellation fees

    In the event that a customer does not show up, he shall be liable for the following fees:

    • 80% of the agreed price for room bookings
    • 70% of the agreed price for room bookings with one meal
    • 60% of the price for room bookings with full board


    Should the hotel have incurred additional costs, e.g. by ordering services from subcontractors, there shall be payable in full by the customer.

    6. Payment

    • All invoices issued by the hotel are payable in full within 14 days upon receipt in cash, by bank transfer or by credit card.
    • In certain cases, the hotel reserves the right to demand payment in advance. This is normally the case with new customers, event organisers based abroad and events where the expected total costs exceed € 15,000. If payment in advance is not received on time, the hotel shall be entitled to withdraw from the contract.

    7. Liability of person making the booking

    • The person who has made the booking shall be liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by him or his party.
    • For property brought to the hotel, we shall be liable according to the regulations laid down in the German Civil Code BGB, unless the room, case or safe in which the object was placed was left unlocked.
    • Valuables are not covered by this policy, unless they have been deposited in the hotel safe against a receipt (available from reception).

    8. Disclaimer of hotel

    • The hotel is entitled to subcontract certain services in connection special events, activities and transfers booked by the customer to a third party.
    • In these cases, the hotel acts on behalf of the customer as an intermediary, and shall not be liable for the services provided by the subcontractor.
    • Should a situation arise where the customer claims compensation from the subcontractor, these claims must be made directly with the subcontractor.
    • The customer will be invoiced as normal by the hotel and will be obliged to pay the invoice as to the above payment terms.

    9. Miscellaneous

    • The hotel reserves the right to withdraw from the contract, if it is forced to do so by force majeure or by a labour dispute. In such an event, the customer shall not be entitled to compensation.
    • The hotel further reserves the right to make changes to the room allocation, the equipment for conferences and the allocation of conference rooms and the accompanying events, unless such a change seriously affects the interests and rights of the customer.
    • All contracts are subject to German law. The place of performance and jurisdiction is the registered address of the hotel. The decision or declaration that one or more of the clauses of these General Business Terms & Conditions is null and void shall have no effect on the remaining clauses.
    • All prices, exchange rates and dates are subject to change without prior notice. Errors excepted. In the event of an incorrect price quoted in our correspondence, the price as printed in the valid price list shall apply.
